PAYMENT, DELIVERY AND RETURNS

ORDERING FROM DESIGNFORFINLAND.COM ONLINE STORE

When ordering from an online store, you can get to know your products using the product image and product description.
You have to be over 18 years old or you have to have the permission of your parent or guardian to place an order.

You can choose to create an account for the online store so that your next visits will go smoother. Creating an account is not mandatory.

After having placed an order, you will receive an order acknowledgement to your email address with information about the delivery. If you have created an account, you can easily follow the order processing and see all your past orders.

If you have any problems using the online store, please contact us via email.

The price of an item can be changed after having placed an order if a pricing mistake has taken place or if the price is exceptionally low compared to the general price level. (Judicial act law 32§)

You can pay your order online using Paypal or debit or credit cards, secured by Stripe.

The online store has several delivery methods with different fees, depending on the delivery address and the value of the order.

  • Posti Parcel: delivery to your nearest Posti Parcel Locker in 2-3 working days. 9.90€
  • Posti Parcel no-stress: delivery to your nearest Posti Parcel Locker, shipped once per week. 6.90€
  • Pick up at Turku keskusta.


RETURN POLICY

We offer you 14 day return and money back guarantee.

The product to be returned must be unopened, unused and in its original packaging.
You can return the product by post to Ursininkatu 3 B 54, 20100 Turku.
We refund the full price of the returned product(s) when we have received it in unharmed condition. We can’t unfortunately refund the shipping costs nor the transaction fee (when paid using PayPal, Stripe or credit card).


WARRANTY

Design For Finland truly cares about the impeccable quality of its products. However, if a mistake has taken place and there is a defect in the product, we will repair or replace the product. Please contact us by email concerning any warranty issues.

PURPOSE OF PROCESSING PERSONAL DATA

The contact information of the person in the register is used for the handling of the orders and to fulfill our legal and contractual obligations with customers.  We process your personal data to maintain customer relationship and handle payments.

Design For Finland also may process your data on its legitimate interests to customer analysis, market research, statistics, monitoring to develop well-functioning services. We may use your personal data and other collected information for more efficient marketing to provide you with relevant content and offers.

- Contact information (postal address, phone number, e-mail)
- Additional information (additional information left by the person, such as a free-form message or feedback)

In addition, we may use third party services such as Google Analytics that collect, monitor and analyze browsing data.

DATA PROCESSING, DISCLOSURE AND RETENTION PERIOD

We will not transfer your personal data to any third parties excluding partners and subcontractors.
The personal data of customer register may be handled if it is necessary by our partners and/or subcontractors in order to develop and enable proper function of the Services. For instance, when shipping your order, the carrier operator usually needs to know the name and the address of the recipient in order deliver it to you.

The data is retained for as long as the customer relationship can be considered valid and for a reasonable period after the customer relationship has been broken.

By default, the request is applied to personal data associated with the sender's e-mail address, unless the person who sent the request is identified in some other way.

If a person wishes to prohibit such activities, he or she can do so by contacting the controller by e-mail.
